Oogave - Mandarin-key Lime, Watermelon Cream & Ginger Ale

This time I'll be finishing up Oogave's flavors, Mandarin-key Lime, Watermelon Cream and Ginger Ale. There is one of them here that I really disliked, although I'm beginning to think it's because of my own tastes.

I'll get the Ginger Ale out of the way first. I really disliked this drink. I am beginning to think that my perception of what Ginger Ale tastes like is skewed because of drinking the cheap full of chemicals "ginger ale" by certain store brands. This isn't the first Ginger Ale drink I've had that I really hated. As such I will be letting Jordan review any further Ginger Ale soda's that we come into contact with.

On to something I enjoyed! The Mandarin-key lime had a wonderful flavor to it. It gave off an aroma not unlike an orange soda. It had a slight orange flavor to it, but the lime really came in near the end and gave it a great taste similar to a limeade. As for the Watermelon Cream, this soda reminded me a lot of a cream lifesaver. In moderation, the flavor is unique and very good. However, I don't think I could drink too much of it, or have it too often. It tasted like a cream soda, and the watermelon flavor was very noticeable.

You can still catch these deliciously natural drinks at restaurants and grocery stores and online at Morningside Local and The Cooperative Grocer.

Yeah, the ginger is one of those love it or leave it flavors. We actually do something completely different from any ginger ale out there. We use immusified ginger oil (emusification just means mixing oil and water) this gives it the flavor of ginger with a bit of creaminess. And many people out there love it LOVE IT. But the drawback is that many people hate it. We can be all things to all people. That is for Jimmy Stuart.
