On the trail of other relaxing shots we have "Be Happy Mood Booster" made by HealthGuard, a company out of California. It's a "mood enhancing" chocolate-cherry flavor packed in a two ounce bottle. Since Californians seem to be a pretty happy bunch, this would seem a logical place for such a product to have its origins. According to the marketing it's supposed to get you, "out of the doldrums and puts that spring back in your step."

The energy drink business has exploded in the last decade with everything from extreme caffeine sodas to tiny shots of vigor, however, in the past year or so there has been an even bigger boom in the exact opposite direction, the Relaxation drink. We've had quite a few of them on our site already, but recently, I had the pleasure of getting my hands on a few "relaxation shots" from Take10 one of the few I've seen on the market.

Take10 Beverages is a relatively new company out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, devoted to getting you to do exactly what the name implies. With two flavors so far, Take1o: To Sleep and Take10: To Relax. The bottles themselves, which reminded me of shampoo bottles in a hotel and were a little awkward to drink out of, are filled with two ounces of non-carbonated, zero sugar, and zero calorie relaxation.

Few soda companies can be considered as influential as Coca-Cola. In some parts of the country if you order a "coke" they immediately give you a Coca-Cola without asking. With a brand name like Coca-Cola, and such a distinctive flavor, how can I be pitting two bottles against each other? The sweeteners, of course! The Coca-Cola that is sold in the United States is made with that ever-present sweetener, High Fructose Corn Syrup, however, there are places where the more traditional cane sugar is preferable.

Created in 2005 DRY Soda launched four flavors Lavender, Kumquat, Lemon-grass and Rhubarb with the goal of creating a new kind of drink. Based in Seattle, Washington and built around making a healthier, better for you soda, they have since unveiled Lemon-grass, Blood Orange, Juniper Berry, Vanilla Bean and Cucumber. Made with no more than four ingredients, the flavors, ranging from 45 to 70 calories are all crisp and excluding water, quite possibly the lightest drinks I've ever had.

Recently DRY made a switch to new bottle that clearly states the amount of calories and flavor profile of each soda, they changed their Rhubarb quite a bit as well. It is now a clear soda instead of a watered down brown, which in all fairness would have made me more hesitant to review Rhubarb first.
